ABOUT US
Bexley Baptist Church is a conservative, Bible believing church in Sydney’s south.
It is a fellowship of people from different walks of life who love to sing the great old hymns and hear the word of God.
We especially love to hear what God has done for us through His son Jesus Christ. We know that we have been forgiven for our sin and rebellion against God through the sacrifice His son Jesus made on the Cross of Calvary some two thousand years ago.
This forgiveness enables all who put their trust in Jesus and his work of salvation to lead a new life in and through him. The result is we have been accepted by God as his children and now enjoy his blessing in our life and His security for eternity.
Our Vision
At Bexley Baptist church our desire is to worship and serve God. Through the Bible, fellowship, prayer and worship we look to be transformed into the men and women God wants us to be.
The location of the church at 484 Forest road is in the heart of the suburb of Bexley in Sydney’s south. Our church has continually served the Lord and the community in the same location since 1914.
We believe the Bible is the Word of God and therefore look to share the relevance of God’s word for today’s world.
We unashamedly seek to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to all who are prepared to listen. The word Gospel means ‘Good News’. The ‘Good News’ is “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
Our aim is to help people to discover how they can have a personal relationship with God through his Son, Jesus. We look to do this in a loving and caring way.
